Something was left out of a child’s internal temperature regulator: It’s called common sense. Compare these two photos of kids and moms, for instance.
The actual temperature? A balmy 57 degrees, with a brisk wind. Lake temperature? Probably somewhere around 60. I forced them to come out of the water when my lips turned blue.
