Take a box of penne pasta (or rigatoni, or cavatappi, or anything short and round) and dump it in a 9X13" pan. Pour 1/4 cup of olive oil over the dry pasta and mix it well.
Go do something fun for fifteen minutes.
Come back and dump two cans of crushed tomatoes over the top and mix them in well. (I also add about a half cup of water.)
Go read a good book while it bakes at 350 degrees for an hour. If I remember, I keep an eye on it. If it starts looking too dry, I add a little more water and mix it around every once in a while. Et, voila!
